    Seiko Seahorse 7625-8031 value?.

I'm looking for a vintage Seiko dress watch and have been offered what looks like a very very nice indeed Seiko 7625-8031 Seahorse automatic. It has a nice white dial with crisp lettering, sword hands look great too.The bracelet is the original signed Seiko,a little on the small side at only 6.5,a beads of rice look.
Id be wearing it on a good quality leather I think.
I can email a pic to ascertain a value,I've searched and found prices all over the place!.

    Thanks for any input,much appreciated.

It is very difficult to value a relatively low-key model in a massively inflationary market and so as is so often the case, such watches end up selling for whatever the buyer believes they are worth, without any obvious clear points of reference. In the case of the 7625-8031, recent eBay auctions have seen watches sell for between $25 (slightly ropey condition and without the Seahorse branding) all the way up to £225 for a smart black dialed watch. The closest to yours in terms of your description (although a black-dialed example) is this one which sold for £170. A couple on WUS appear to have sold for £225 and £198 in the past year and so it looks as though somewhere in the region of £200 might be in order, assuming the condition is as you describe and it does not need a service.
