    New Seiko SRPC divers.

Strange that this is the SRPC23K1 but is stated to use the 4r35, though the picture shows a day window. Compared to the others which is date only.
I can't see the difference between that and the srp777. Unless it's a different finish and an even smaller lume pip.

EDIT - seems as though this and another that looks like the blue and black SRP787K have different dials. This being dark grey with a sunburst finish and the SRPC25K1

Having a nice sunburst blue dial compared to the SRP787K.

This is also an interesting line, the SRPC37K1:

Not sure on the crown at 3, but has a slightly different edge over the srp777, which looked a little dull maybe? At least it never quite took me from loving an original 6309.

Only issue now is that these are already being called "mini Turtle"...because that's a cutesy name that we all will love to use....

    https://www.seiko-prospex.com/sea/srpc37k1

And a PADI version, SRPC41K1. With what looks like an interesting patten on the dial.

    Blue, SRPC39K1.

Bracelet version of the black, SRPC35K1.

I actually think these are quite refreshing. I'm sure there will be those that instantly hate them for whatever reason. I'm more intrigued as to how compatible these would be with SKX parts etc.

Those new turtles are superb additions, really nice colours. Keep thinking about buying a turtle again and this might sway it.

Don't like the Terrapins below so much (see what I did there)

I like these. Prefer the crown at 4 still, however the dial on the other models seems to work. Any idea of a price range?

    I did, yes. :)

Not sure re price...I'd imagine the same as the srp77x, so £400~rrp down to probably £250-£300 within 6 months I'd say.

I'm hoping the lume on the new designs have a less glossy, raised look.

    Terrapins - perfect

I like them, but at 42.3mm they're hardly babies. I've never owned a PADI Seiko but I might dabble with this one.

Love the first two. I think i'll end up with the grey dial.
I hope the blue one is graduated like that pic rather than sunburst.

Nice line of watches. Never thought the SRP7* suited a bracelet so good to see the alternate range. The black dial on the 777 looks better in real life.

I like the srp777 but mostly the srp789. I'd like a variant of the coke insert on one of these. Possibly the 4 crown but I'm not too out off by the crown on the others. Not exactly mini, really, but I reckon these will be successful. I do like the grey sunburst dial version a lot.

Not keen on the crown at 3 o'clock on the new case, especially standing so proud without guards or being sunken into the case a little. Nice to see the cyclops outside if Thai LE's etc.

Love the new black dial. Will they have these at the Seiko boutique in London?

They should do or at any Seiko AD. A lot of the Prospex range is now released worldwide.

Got to say I like this, probably a marmite watch, but hey...I like marmite!
Be interested to see price if Creation get them.

I love this guy's videos, though not actually much content to them, his voice is so soothing and he really seems to be the first person worldwide to see everything in the flesh.

Both of these fab watches arrived today and I have to say they are both excellent to my eyes! Hope you like these pics, I tried to get various angles to show how the light plays with the dials...

On which model? SRP or SRPC as both are being discussed here.

I think the turtles look great. I’m wearing my 775 on the stock bracelet today and it’s so comfortable and easy to wear, keeps time to within a second a day and the lume lasts all night. Also has the nicest bezel action of any watch at this price imho. Love the 70’s retro cushion case, the underside reminds me of a boiled sweet which possibly explains the comfort!
These new dials really pop without the red accents which I dislike on the padi versions.
I assume these must have been a big sales success for seiko if they’re producing so many versions (and I’m a bit sceptical about the black cased versions being limited tbh) - a great looking watch, great movements and lots of colour choice, fantastic

Having a nice sunburst blue dial compared to the SRP787K.
I had a quick look at these two today when I collected my SRPC49, the dials are beautiful.

    You're welcome
I really recommend both of these, to me they are the best of the (new as opposed to vintage) turtles out there.

I thought an SRPC25 would conflict with my PADI but I don't think it will. A nice domed sapphire and signed crown would make it pretty much perfect for me.

The grey dialled SRPC23 would get the same treatment.

The blue dial seems to have a fixed pattern (effect not even) or is that an illusion? Light to dark blue is the same in every picture.

The blue looks to be more prominent from 12 to 6. But this video tries to show how it changes .

Yes the dial does have a fixed transition from black/dark blue - to blue in the middle to - dark blue/black again, however the starburst effect of the dial comes to play also in the sunlight. It's hard to describe but I like it.. a lot!

Anyone have any info on where to pick up the mini turtles yet? Or when they’ll be available if not yet?

Some for sale on ebay.com....over $500 for the black with strap which seems steep to me. But then in UK £395 for the Padi, which funnily enough is the one I prefer.....https://www.hillierjewellers.co.uk/g...iABEgLEIfD_BwE

There was one in my local AD this week. I am sure it was the PADI model.

I would love the Terrapins / baby turtles if they had the crown at four. I can't get over the three o'clock position; otherwise I would have bought one already.

  40. #40
Love the look of the blue and black bezelled version. I picked up the SRPA21A PADI a few weeks ago and it hasn't been off my wrist much at all, really happy with it. The turtles are quite big but seem to wear really well and are very comfortable, when the sun hits that sunburst dial they look incredible as well.

  41. #41
I gave in on the turtles ... going to pick up a SRP779 upgraded with a flat sapphire crystal tomorrow morning :-)

Still not sure on the baby turtles; I really do not like the crown at three.

Seiko SRPC41K1 Mini Turtle jubilee bracelet

Dear Seikophiles, Ive been researching correct OEM jubilee bracelet option for the SRPC41K1, sadly to no avail.

Does anyone happen to know where one can find one and what model number it is please?

    Thank you in advance, David
