Would be good to get this forum going again.

Mine’s arrived safe and sound and I have to say it exceeds expectations, thanks James.

Mine arrived in Colombia yesterday, and is already visiting a third continent. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more interesting photographs at the weekend.

I've just posted a thread in the straps section to get opinions on a decent PVD NATO for one these.

What strap is this please? It suits the watch perfectly.

Cheers, I think that it works well and I'm not overly keen on that additional height that you get with a NATO strap. It's a ZULUDIVER two-piece in green/yellow (although it appears more like olive/beige to me).

Mr Curta, for sheer persistence and including a Blackbird in one of the pics... you get the hat.
Please PM me your address again. Congratulations.

Splendid. Just the thing for when I'm dropping some gems on the ones and twos.

Managed to pick up a steel PRS-3. Very nice it is too.

Wanted to see it on leather. I found the spring bars impossible to remove, even with a Bergeon tool. The dental floss trick----no go.

Had to remove the bars with fine snips. The original bars seem to have no ridges/flanges? to get a grip.

Thanks to Kungfugerbil for the heads-up on the strap from a PRS-36 thread.

How are people finding the lume on these? I am a bit disappointed with mine. Certainly not as good as the one lume shot on the thread.

Happy with mine. Hands are a lot brighter than the indices.

My dial and bezel pip lume plots are pretty none existent. The hands do have a glow but still aren't great.

Torch shots don't tell the whole story.
    Overnight the lume is disappointing.
Similar to a Damasko DA36 I once had.
Not as good as the PRS18Q.

True enough, I just need legibility in low light conditions and it is great for that. I can't be arsed to do an overnight comparison.

I haven't tried to do a torch shot, I'm just going on whether I can see it in low light and I can't - even though the hands have a glow they are really poor and my Speedy Pro has better low light legibility in the same conditions. Think I may send it back under the warranty to see if they can get it a bit better.
