    New Arrival, a unexpected purchase..,

    Hi all...

Another year draws to a close and so with it my choices of wristwear...

This was a unexpected purchase - but it was something a bit different... and I have a interest in Uk based watch companies - so why not :)

It arrived yesterday.. its even nicer in the metal so to speak.. so some piccies below for your perusing...

Its a variant on the original Pinion Axis, DLC body with a bronze bezel, supplied on a lovely walnut leather nato...

    Cheers

    Matt

And one with the Schofield Blued Ti Beater (just awaiting my B2 to be ready...)

Thats different enough to catch my eye for sure. I'm not usually a fan of bronze watches but that breaks through somehow.
Nice looking watch and a really clear readable dial as well. Thumbs up from me.

Really nice, bronze bezel definitely makes it stand out. I like the date is almost hidden also so as not to intrude.

Packaging also suits the watch well!
    Thumbs up from me also...

    Very nice,

I also like the British watch thing and have looked at/nearly bought, both Pinion and Schofield watches in the past. I can definitely see myself buying one of these at some point.

Very nice Matt, i bought one but it then changed into another variation of Axis but now i'm waiting for an Axis II!

Worth emailing Pinion to ask about the sample sale.. my dlc/bronze one will now be in there too..

That is what i have gone for! Axis nailed it for me as a watch i would design if i could, Axis II refined it and gave us minute markers and applied indices which i like.

Just waiting for my strap to be made :(

I like the style overall, although the change of numbers (3,6,9, 5,10,20) bothers me a bit.

That’s a really nice watch. In fact they’re both really nice watches!

It’s nice to see more British watches on here.

I do like the look of that Pinion. It’s a brand I don’t know anything about but will check out.

I really like a couple of those designs and it's great to see a successful British company in the industry.

    A Pinion model is certainly
on the list to join my little collection of British watch makers of Bremont, Schofield and Christopher Ward

    Great choice.
Truly lovely watch and even the packaging is a little different, and very nice, from the norm.
