I doubt that there is a best place; one needs to shop around to find just what one wants. One place I use quite a lot is watchobsession.co.uk

Will bookmark it, I know there isn't such a thing as a best place but it's nice to know of some places to start looking

There are more expensive leather straps out there that are more supple and patinate well but the ones from Watch Obsession serve their purpose well.

No problem! My experience is that the thicker straps are quite stiff and never really break in - not entirely uncomfortable but a bit annoying. The thinner straps are just fine.

Take a look at Timefactors, Watchworx and Monkeyswag too.

+1 on watchgecko and watch obsession.

Also, there is a very wide choice from 'watch band center'. Based in Germany - I have bought leather straps from them several times and been impressed.

I usually use Watchgecko, or eBay for Hirsch straps. Also make sure to check Amazon for Strapcode straps as they are sometimes cheaper than the official store.

Lots of small scale artisan strap makers out there. I’ve had good experiences with GasGasBones and Toshi.

Thanks all for the suggestions I didn't expect so many replies

Is there a certain brand I should be focusing on when it comes to straps

I.e. one that tends to be a higher quality of bang for buck than others

    Regards

There are so many places to buy watch straps.

Personally I tend to use Cousins - who do really inexpensive but ok quality straps. Or the Watchbandcenter.com who do a huge array of different brands to suit most budgets.

Di Modell straps are very good quality for the money in my experience.

I had a di modell strap on my U1, fantastic quality and hefty enough to suit the watch.

Best place for watch accessories ( bracelet, straps etc )

There’s an endless supply of cheap NATO’s etc on eBay of varying quality. Sometimes handy to buy a £3 cheapy to decide on a colour/look before shelling out on a more expensive one.

Another one to add to the list is two stitch straps https://www.twostitchstraps.com for reasonably priced custom made straps

    Thanks all

I'm going to sift through all the websites and will end up with a few and take some snaps with the watches
