If you're confident and have steady hands, I'd recommend changing the entire movement. I can't see which types they are but have a look at prices on CousinsUK. Should only be a few quid each.
I am hoping I can bring these 2 watches back to life. I have replaced many batteries in other watches with no issues, however with regards to these two.( Images attached.)
1. Rotary, given as a 60th birthday present and never worn or used. I brought it out after 6 years and it wasn’t working, I put a new battery in which was checked for strength and nothing happened. Still has original cellophane covers on back and dial. Although I would like this to work as it was a present I just feel the cost of a repair would be prohibitive as on state pension.
2. Accurist, again been sitting for a few years but from memory I did wear it at one time, similar to above re battery but watch maybe slightly older.
Any help or guidance would be good.

Were the old dead batteries left in the watch for the 6 years? I believe this is not a good idea. No idea what damage it does but may help others diagnose if you can confirm that?
