Sad loss at such a relatively young age. So glad I took the time to see them many moons ago. RIP.

RIP Malcolm. One of the best rock bands of all time. I was lucky enough to see them with Bon Scott and then with Brian Johnson for the Back in Black Tour - great memories.

RIP Malcolm, part of an Aussie legend that was Bon-era AC/DC. Grew up listening to them Own a good few first presses and all the Jap for Oz first CD pressings, one of the most prized parts of my collection and even more cherished now.

I'd defy anyone, no matter what their musical taste - to not be enthralled by an AC/DC gig. Look at the crowds in Rio, Madrid etc.........

One of the iconic bands in every decade since the '70s.

    A sad loss.

We met them years ago when I was a schoolboy. They used to rent out the “Good Companions” guest house on a Douglas promenade (unannounced). There was a rumour that they owned it, but the band just said there stayed there occasionally.

Any way, one day we were walking past the hotel on the way into town, and there was this red BMW M1 parked outside the hotel, so we stopped to take a closer look. Then we heard music, and it was a live band playing from somewhere inside, and playing something we instantly recognised. We stopped and listened, then the music stopped and someone unlocked the front door and came out. We were amazed to see one of the band members!

After a quick chat a few of us arranged to come back down a little later. We brought our entire AC/DC collections and had them all signed and had a long chat with the band - I must still have my records in my parents loft somewhere.
It's just a matter of time...

Rock on mate. My life would have been a great deal poorer without your riffs.

Sad news, what a legend. I’ll be playing a few ropey bars of Highway To Hell tonight.

Damn shame, saddening to hear he had to relearn his own songs towards the end.

One of the best live bands I've ever seen.

Very sad. By coincidence I was watching some of their live shows on You Tube yesterday morning and an hour or so later the news broke.

An absolute legend and his music will live on for forever with those classic riffs.

    RIP.

Rocking out in a better place now. RIP.

I saw them many times, such a shame but at least he's free from that terrible dementia now.

    RIP Malcolm
