Seiko and eBay

So I’m looking at Seiko’s midsize SKX013 diver because I’ve got twig-like wrists and a fairly lengthy trip in the new year that wants something waterproof.

Creation Watches looks to be sold out and eBay shows wild variation in prices – from £155 to more than £300. My question is why the variation? Anything dodgy about the cheap ones (description says non-original box and photocopied instructions)?

I think most grey dealers will come like that. Creation come with non original box and photo copied instructions. The difference in price could be if they are UK based or shipped from abroad.

Thanks. Cheapest one ships from Ireland. Grey importers and box/instruction compromises I can live with, substandard watches less so. Probably worth a punt then at £155?

Yes £155 sounds pretty good and none of the import charges you could incur from Creation.

I think the biggest worry with anything like this is mis aligned chapter rings etc.

These will still come from Singapore or Hong Kong. So make sure you ask the seller about shipment value.
