Yep. First episodes really excellent, storyline settling down into the narrative now. Fabulous soundtrack!!!!

Anyone watching this series on BBC Two?
Caught part episode last night - looked good but no real idea what was going on. Think I'll start on iPlayer.

I’m liking it so far, although last weeks episode was a bit slow. Roll on Sunday
Think I’ve watched the first 4 episodes, really enjoying it.
Don't have Sky so probably can't get it, thanks.
I watched three episodes and gave up... too bloody depressing. Unless male rape is your thing?
Been with it from the start and story lines coming together nicely. From what I can make out and feel free to fill in the gaps/errors......
How Crack happened. The US funnies allow tons of cocaine from potentially commie central american countries to flood into the US. The money this makes is used to fund counter revolutionaries, in the US interest.
Smart young lad naively hops onto the drug carosel, stepping on the toes of a very bad Isreali gangster, the local latino Mexican mafia/maniacs.
Gawd knows where this will end up. The main victims so far seem to be the black community? As it was said last night by a former Black Panther ' before this we had ideals/polotics' or words to that effect.
Seems the gvmnt was happy to let this happen, gang wars etc, maybe so they'd all kill each other off down the line?
Now profits & demand about to go off the scale now cooking it down is on the go. Should get messy.
Stick with it but be warned if you hit the iplayer, plenty N word.
I'm watching both these TV shows for those who don't know...
Snowfall = Cocaine epidemic/wars in the 80's in the west side of America (Los Angeles).
The Deuce = The Mafia's part in the sex/porn industry in the 70's in the east side of America (New York).
I've been recording them and finally got round to watching the Pilot last night. Looks promising, and as someone else mentioned, great sound track. I can already foresee the mess the characters are going to get into.
All quite predictable from my sofa but at least it’s better than the other rubbish in a Sunday evening .
