I've tried all sorts of permutations of YouTube scripts to try and embed a video, but no luck.
I've done a search of 'youtube' for any threads/posts which might enlighten me.
Scanned through the FAQs.......
Can't find anything on it!???????

There's a button called INSERT VIDEO.
When you make a post, in the panels above the text area there is an icon which looks like a piece of film, next to the image icon and below the smiley - click on that and paste the Youtube address in the box and hit OK.

Otherwise, you can simply type the following:
HTML Code:[video]paste the youtube url[/video]
Which will give you:
and that looks like this:HTML Code:[video=youtube;fRj34o4hN4I]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRj34o4hN4I[/video]

Smilies are On
[IMG] code is On
[VIDEO] code is On
HTML code is Off

You can't post a video in all sub-forums.

I'm pretty sure I have never seen any video-link buttons in any subforum, though.
Under General Settings/Miscellaneous Options/Message Editor Interface do you have 'Enhanced Interface' selected?
And - that's the solution!!!
I must admit - I did wonder why the forum seemed so 'plain' - seemingly without the ability to add an emoticon to 'style' the words.
