    Watch battery cover loose

Hi, I have a vintage Quartz watch that has a metal battery cover on the back, but upon wearing it, over time it unscrews and tries to escape, so was wondering what possible solutions for this are out there?

Would a particular grade of Loctite or similar glue be suitable?

Obviously, it would have to hold it in place, but still be able to be opened for battery changes etc.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Mark

It should have a rubber gasket or o ring to secure it, they are often missing.
    Cheers..

Failing that, I use Tamiya thread lock, I believe Loctite do a similar as well.
