    Speedy Tuesday advice, please...

I'd like to wear mine on a bracelet, but I'm not sure if there's a modern bracelet that fits the case that's also devoid of polished bits. Can anyone advise, please?

    TAI :)

1171? RRP is £340. Bit expensive for what is is but fits the ST perfectly and is full brushed.

Modern 1171 with 633 end links?

    Or the uber pricey 1450...

Ive seen Lee's 1171 combo and it's a very suitable match.

Does the Speedy Tuesday work with a bracelet? To my eyes it seems intended for a simple strap. But I think that about all variations of the Speedie......what did the original astronauts wear? Come to think of it, the watch presumably fitted over a spacesuit.....

Another vote for a 1171 with 633 end links for that vintage look and feel.

Probably easiest and cheapest to start with the standard bracelet. If that doesn't work, simply get it brushed.

Sorry. I’d have credited you but I grabbed both off a different forum and there was no reference to the source there.

let us know how you get on tony, i would also like to wear mine on a bracelet but saw somewhere that the 633 end links need a file down to fit? the 1171 bracelet looks best to me.

    Cheers

No apology needed, was flattered one of my pics was good enough to share.

I found they fit straight from the pack, all be it very snugly. I did eventually file the edges just slightly on one of the end links to make it easier to remove for strap changes but very simple to do so, don't let that put you off.

The small polished bits on the bracelet wouldn’t sit well with my OCD.

Has anyone ever tried brushing the modern Speedy bracelet polished bits? I wonder what it would look like.

I've seen it done. Omega also offered that bracelet in an all brushed TI model. It looks pretty similar to that one.

Thanks for the responses, chaps. i do like the look if the 1171, but don't trust myself to file the end-links down properly if by any chance they don't fit. Will have a think about it.

Velcro strap no? For wearing outside their spacesuits. Though I'd assume another for 'indoor' wear!

No reason that genuine 633 endlinks should drop straight in. Pattern parts might need filing perhaps.

Either way held securely in a small vice and carefully dressed with a flat file that’s not too coarse wouldn’t take much at all. It’s not like you would have to remove lots of material

Wrap it around the wrist twice.
