    Fire Hose Straps!

Came across these in Newcastle Co. Down. Guaranteed waterproof!

What a great idea and they look great too. Are these available to buy online I wonder.

Interesting. I've got a metre or two of the old latex hose from my days as a Firefighter, destined for the bin when replaced with the new fangled Flamefighter. I got it to use to put inside my MTB tyre as a "get me home" liner/patch if I ever got a split in the tyre, but I've considered asking one of the resident strap gurus if they could knock me something up, probably for my Voyager.

Would definitely need to be made from new hose, my lasting memory of 45 or 70mm hose was after using it having the joyous job of scrubbing 3 different colours of dog muck off it.

    I can't see a one piece NATO-ish version unfortunately.

Would they be comfortable? Is the rubber comfortable against your skin?

Jed was a member here 5-years ago when he started making the straps.

It was Duraline in our brigade, still remember the nightmare l had on training school trying to run it out without it all collapsing over my wrists!, still have some off cuts from hose repair, pretty much indestructible!
