Well worth getting, the colours aren’t far off a perfect match and the black buckle matches well too. Unfortunately the watch (and strap!) will be staying with me for the foreseeable!

Ha, no worries! You got the strap with the split metal link, yes? For fixed bars?

That looks amazing. If ever a watch was made for the Erika's MN strap, it's the FXD. Mines lived on it since I got the strap.

Yes, on her site choose the strap you want then at the free “for FXD” option.

Bucherer on blue leather - looks classier than the OG brown IMO.

Absolute perfection. If I could have any watch at the moment it would be this one.

Inspired by alex, upthread, yesterday I took delivery of two new EO straps. Here's one, and given the faff of changing them, it'll stay on this for a bit.

Looks great. Glad I’m not the only one who found changing the strap a pain. Didn’t think the EO would squeeze through the lugs!

Have gone full stealth mode on the BP with the arrival of a 23mm Black Ops Erika's.

  18. #2818
Lots of good EO choices here, love it.

Took my FXD for the first time in a few weeks, and swapped to my Landmaster. Two watches that really suit the EO style.

Put this on as a temp measure whilst the PCLs are polished out of the bracelet.
Simple Black nato from the Strap Tailor - turns out to look awesome!
… although my mere mortal hand and I(phone) seem unable to frame it’s fearful symmetry

I did similar with my Omega, tried it on this Zuludiver elastic nato and to me it looks spot on.

Tried to sell this about 4 times and always withdraw it.

Stuck it on a Zulu diver NATO and it might just get another stay of execution

This is working for me…citizen on a Steveo strap. Watch face is a near perfect match with that old Land Rover canvas and the markers around the watch face look good alongside the Union Jack keeper. I like it anyway. Just need to wear the strap in a bit as they come quite stiff (ooh errr missus). Strap and watch are both rugged and comfortable, so not just a visual match. Note the colour has come out a bit too blue in the photo…both watch and strap are a bit more grey blue (RAF blue?) - if you see a vintage defender with this colour canvas you know what I mean.

More Erika's love, this time on the Landmaster LE. I like how Seiko took the time to polish the area between the lugs, even though it comes on a bracelet.

More EO love, this time on a recently-arrived Longines.

Always liked the 70s look of these and they're good value used, as are many Longines to be fair. If I didn't have a similar Lemania I'd have had one by now.

Just taken delivery of some top-quality two part ribbed-NATO style straps c/o 'jpeat94' on that ebay, and am most impressed:

Always like the NTTD stripes, but never previously found them used in a strap style I liked - NATOs are great, but I dislike the added thickness behind the caseback. These work perfectly.

Jpeat ribbed 2 piece NATO's are the dogs dangles, and at under a tenner fantastic value. I have all the colours less the blue.

The horological masterwork that is my San Martin SN033-G2* paired with a Balabanoff Horween strap. I even got them to do it with yellow thread specially.

    * In the interests of full disclosure, one of my San Martin SN033-G2s.

Saw that on another thread and reckon it suits it brilliantly tonally-speaking

Truth to tell there's not been a stinker in this thread for a little while.
