Really good episode this week. The Lancia/Audi piece was really well done. I think I must just be dull, I really don’t enjoy all the shenanigans......

Agree, I liked the Lancia/Audi part and the celebrities race. Car refueling piece boring and pointless for me.

I really enjoyed this episode: Lamborghini - check, celebrity face off - check, Lancia v Audi - check.

Refuelling whilst driving... hmmm, not as good.

This is how to do it properly:

    Amazing!

Loved the Lancia/Audi piece. The rest of it was good entertainment.

It was a bit of a shame they stopped there. We missed out on the Delta S4 and a tribute to Henri Toivonen killed in 1986.

As a big fan of the Group B era of rallying I loved that part of the show and great to see the road going version of the Lancia 037 going around a track (and Clarkson genuinely enthusing about it) , what a beautiful machine!

Anyone with a passing interest in that era of rallying has no doubt seen the "Madness on Wheels" documentary but in case you haven't here it is.

A good episode this week. No filler, and even the celebrities were interesting.

I really liked season 1, this season seems just as good. Much better than top gear ever was imo.

A definite return to form with the format getting stronger each week.

I’m inclined to agree. I’ve enjoyed the last three or so episodes far, far more.

It still is nowhere near TG was in its heyday, but they seem to have dropped a lot of the really stupid crap and got back to some interesting cars, good locations, and actual content - the Lancia / Audi feature was excellent- more of this please!

I’ve watched the first two episodes today and enjoyed it. The three of them together are greater than the sum of the parts, great tongue in cheek entertainment. I’d given up watching the old Top Gear, this is definite return to form.

Clarkson could definitely do with missing a few meals!

I agree the last few have improved to the point where I only need to fast forward the Celebrity Face Off section now...

Nick Mason!!! What's not to like. Proper petrol head.

I thought the latest episode was great fun and those laps on the banked section in Spain, proper scary especially for Jezza even with his roll cage. kudos!

Clearly, it was scarier for Richard Hammond.

To be honest, even given the dramatic camerawork and editing, it looked potentially dangerous.

I would imagine that Hammond is under some pressure (and rightful obligation) to his family not to have yet another near fatal accident.

Fair play to him for not doing it. It was noticeable that neither JC or JM gave him a hard time over it.

    Great sequence though!

I bet Stewart Lee was disappointed in him.

This is the only episode I've watched of the GT since the very first episode, and while I still love the cars, they're just too old now for my liking (I'm the same age as Hammond). Clarkson looks like his flesh is slowly dripping of his revolting face. There's something to be said for choosing presenters for their looks.

I will watch the Lancia one, because I love me an 037.
