Thread: IWC Porsche Design Strap

    IWC Porsche Design Strap

I was wondering whether anyone had an idea of what I might use to replace the original strap on this watch

I have asked IWC for a replacement cost but am expecting a shock there !!
The original is a rubber sort of material and what I want to find is something similar which can be cut to length and attached via the screw clamping fitment shown. The material ideally needs to be 18mm wide and up to 2mm thick . A reasonably rigid rubber /silicone sort of thing would be favourite and obviously need not to be a skin irritant. I am sure there must be several things which would fit the bill but I am sure a forum member will come up with the perfect suggestion.
The second picture of from the web , just to show the arrangement at the rear of the piece.
    Many thanks for any input.

you can always ask for custom made strap. I know few strap makers that can make almost anything.

Well, that went well then . I bought the bracelet for my Tudor Snowflake for the princely sum of £99 direct from Rolex St. James' so I know how you feel.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
