This is not a covert sales post. It's a request for information.
Recently, I bought a lovely, vintage, 34mm, 18kt yellow gold IWC with an 853 movement (described by Brunner & Pfeiffer-Belli (1999:226) as 'One of the best automatic movements ever built in Switzerland').
It came on a new alligator strap with a vintage 14mm pin buckle, which I checked to see if it was IWC, but, to my surprise, found 'PPCo' in an oval (with the 'o' raised and a short line underneath) and '750'. The pin is flat & wide, typical of a vintage Patek Philippe.
So, the questions, please. What's the buckle worth? And where should I sell it?
It resembles this one closely:

I've no idea about value and cant't comment about the PP aspect of this but I believe the same (or same style) buckles were also originally sold with, for example, Universal Geneve and Jaeger. Here are a couple of links which may be of interest.

I imagine that it would be quite valuable to the right collector.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
