    Anti-slap remedies

I thought I might celebrate my 500th post with a proper cringe-worthy thread.
My advancing years has resulted in retreating follicles which I first noticed about 5 year ago when recorded from rear on cctv or to be accurate someone else noticed and brought to my attention, earsling.
I decided to try that German Engineering shampoo (affectionately known in our household as 'Al Pacino')
I have to say that tbh it seems to have worked, my thinning has not got any worse and I may be wishfully thinking but it seems less than when I first noticed.
Has anyone else noticed hair loss regression with this or any other unctions?

Sadly it will be wishful thinking - there are drugs you can get that *might* provide benefit in *some* cases but could lead to you being impotent.

There are plenty of GP's and barbers with thinning hair,
if there was a magic potion I think they'd know.

    Good point.

If £300,000 a week footballer Wayne Rooney has resorted to a transplant, It’d suggest that there’s not much else that works.... if there was ever someone to whom money is no object, he’d be high on the list.

Runout is that a certain Mr Beckham has a sizimeable patch, skilfulkt hidden with a modern-day combover and extensions......

Some says the same is true of POTUS, but it's all fake news!

I used it for a while and I think it just volumizes your hair so it feels thicker. The best thing to do is avoid towel drying your hair as that will make it drop out quicker. Apart from that buy some Super Tapers and embrace it.

Drug based "solution". Despite the invitation here, I wouldn't consider without speaking to your GP:

The best thing about losing your hair is all those very helpful people who can't resist telling you about it. All the time. Like you hadn't noticed perhaps. Just being helpful. Like you could mention how fat, spotty, ugly, shortarsed, big nosed they are.................or not!

Oh and I don't think there is any real 'cure'. Apart from a rug or a Hamlet........

Once I noticed it was only people with thinning hair who commented I stopped caring !

Although they claim it's low risk - it's still too much of a risk to the 'little man' - I'd rather look like Lex Luthor but have fully functional equipment.
