Just purchased a s/h copy of this book from a local book dealer … and what a beautiful and profusely illustrated book it is. The Amazon listing is for a 2007 paperback edition but mine is the slightly later 2008 hardback copy with a different cover illustration. The detailed illustrations are superb - especially pages 78, 79, 80 and 81 which unfold to show a disassembled DATOGRAPH* movement and the complete movement after reassembly … both on fold-out double page illustrations. The 144 pages will likely convert more than a few watch enthusiasts including myself to a new allegiance. My hardback copy includes a Walter Lange signature on page 5 which might be original i.e. not printed.
Has anyone else acquired a hardback copy and if so can you advise if Walter Lange actually signed your copy?
Best wishes

*Just checked the DATOGRAPH price … it's a mere £86K which is beyond my means :)
