Any idea what the gold 'ingot' signifies?
It has Joseph Siffert and Ronnie Peterson stamped on it??

Will do a search - they might have been teammates?

Loving this! It's a shame they're only going to make 41 pieces (40 steel and 1 gold) though and It's certainly not cheap!

Amazing. Hopefully they make a non limited version. The dial is beautiful
I would expect Tag to bring out some kind of non LE edition of this at some point. They very rarely miss a trick if there is a profit to be had.
As said earlier this is one stunning re-edition and with the measurement of 38mm, this is what the Re-edition Autavia should have been.

Nice. But only 40 renders it almost irrelevant to normal buyers.
Every one of those will be sold already.
So it’s a TAG for £8k, with the same terribly unreliable movement as the TAG MP4-12C and a certain brand beginning with AP. Not sure this is how I’d spend that sort of money but each to their own.
Are they call it a re-edition or an homage? From what I can see, the chronograph is going to be, ah, a little less adept than the original at measuring minutes 31 to 720...
Sub dials have different functions on the re-edition.
I don't find it interesting at all. And for some reason the sub dials look further apart. Possibly because they're black on silver. I'd far rather have an original Heuer than a TAG homage, Heuer branding or not.
