    Number One New Change.....

I've been to the roof top open air Cinema a few times and there's a roof top bar... On a clear night fantastic views.

I'm on the left in the picture. :D

My firm held a reception at the Radio Bar on the Strand this summer. Amazing views, with the bonus that Somerset House is immediately in front and below, so we could metaphorically spit on our friends at HMRC.

I wouldn't say is the same as the Roof Gardens but Sushi Samba has a roof top open bar on 23rd floor of the Heron Tower. Selfridges have a roof deck too now although more shoppers than party goers.

I've done a couple of nights at Sushi Samba. It's mega-expensive and would only go again if work was paying!

One New Change is great. Alternative could be the Sky Garden at Fenchurch St though you may have to book...

I went to a bar on the roof in London years ago. Le coq de argent or something like that. Food was really good

Kensington roof gardens at dusk is nice BUT check its open when you want to visit as it sometimes books out to private parties etc

Vertigo on top of Tower 42 has amazing views, I don't drink so can't comment on the cocktails.

    Rooftop Bars London

Hi, I'm a 'black cab' driver in London.
All the suggestions are worth looking at.
I'd say check out the Mondrian as well, it's always buzzing and definitely a 'in' place.
It's a fairly new hotel along the southbank by oxo, which I'd also recommend for dinner and quiet drinks.

Depends on where in London you are going to be. And if you need to be outside.

Loads in the city and near London Bridge

My favs out in the open are:

    Madison
    Babylon
    Sky Lounge
    Radio is okay

I would always say duck and waffle for the views and quick because south will disappear soon.

    Pitch.

/chortle/ Anyway, if no one suggest it yet, Vista at the Trafalgar is rather nice.
