    Fat off

With the recent interest in thin watches in another thread, I thought it would be interesting to have a "fat off" to see pictures of some of the thickest watches around.

Steinhart racetimer - 16 mm. That's why I sold it, despite its beauty.

A mere 14.3mm, this is the thickest in my collection. As you can see, it easily slips under the sleeve.

OK, at less than 13mm hardly fat by today's standards, but we can't have this thread without at least having one Fatboy included in the mix.

Fattest I've got but wears incredibly well despite the thickness. Annual Calender, moonphase and flyback chrono. All functions can be used submerged too ! Not that I'm going to test that .

My fattest watch, but because it's titanium it's as light as a feather
It still won't go under a shirt cuff though.

Is that a U1? I had the SDR version and regret selling it. If it is a U1 the picture shows it's not as tall as I remembered.

The Omega PO 8500 has been described as fat many a time but I still love mine.

Certainly is, yep. I was surprised it's the thickest I have, I would have pointed at a couple of others but it's the U1.
