I spotted a 1960's Breitling for sale and was rather taken by it. Then I scoured the web for some background and I think that the dial has been restored. I base that on the fact the the radial markings at 3, 6, and 9 on the minutes dial extend to the centre. They stopped short (about half way) on the examples of a Breitling 1911 that I found on the net.
Are there any Breitling experts on the forum who can confirm or refute my diagnosis, please? And are there any good sites that I can use for reference?
Many thanks
Bob
The quality of the subdial printing (see the uneven 15, fat 30 and uneven markings) and the Breitling and Geneve font don't inspire confidence to be honest.
