That is a shame, so young.

Remember him of course from Buzzcocks.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

RIP, SH. Makes me feel old, no age at all. Takes me back to my student days with Sean's Show - reminds me I should also watch Gormenghast again...

Indeed, I always liked him in "The Last Detective", too.

Never looked well even as a young man and I'd not seen him on TV for years.

I actually bought and watched Gormenghast recently, but had forgotten his role in it until I Googled it when you mentioned it!

Well worth another watch - Has there been a series with such a stellar cast since?

Great shame indeed. I was a high schooler at the time when Sean's Show was on the tele, just watching it now and having a good laugh.

    Fine comedian.

Used to enjoy him on Buzzcocks and I had forgotten about The Last Detective, but great in that as well.

As others have said 51 is no age.

    RIP Sean.

Will always be the mighty scary shark to me! Spent many happy times watching with the kids.

I saw him live about 7 years ago and he had a huge belly and big Beard and kept taking the piss out of himself for it, still funny though from what I can remember

He was quite a talent, very sad. I always liked his voice could listen to it all day. His off the wall perspectives and rambling nature was put to good use in his Seans show. Hope you find peace Sean...
