    Drawer find at mums house

So after mother dearest was having a clear out she came across a watch I got when I was 18-20 I think. And it's exact replacement.
Dates to around 2000 I'd guess....

Why two the same? I loved it and when I lost an endlink due to a bent spring bar I managed to get the same watch again.
Guess what? Exact same thing happened. Bent spring bar and list end link. Wow!
These were daily wear for around 5 years I think.
I've made one set up complete from two sets of bracelets. Just need to get a battery and a good clean and hopefully, one at least, will be good to go!

Nice find! Maybe get the second on a strap?

Seems to be 20mm lug width. I've got a few straps that would fit.

What a great find. As mentioned by kingstepper, I would put the other on a strap or Nato.

What is the case size on these?

Just noticed the chrono seconds hand stopped in the same place on both!

You young whippersnappers don't deserve watches if you can't take good care of them! ;-)

Haha, I've not been called a whippersnapper for a long time.
Although I do definitely take much better care of my watches these days. Not least as they are a chuff load more expensive! Lol

Got to see if they're working first, but I may well do!
Size wise, I've not measured it but < 40mm for sure.

Nice find! And exactly the same as mine, given to me by a girlfriend for my 21st birthday. Wore it for many years, still have it somewhere too.

That's the ideal size. Fingers crossed that they still work.

I have that exact watch, bought when I was 17 or so.
First decent watch I bought and my only one for years!

Nice find. All you need to do now is to get a tooth brush on the bracelet to remove the years of DNA.

Got me wondering now, my 18th birthday present mid 90’s was an Accurist chrono that still exists in a box somewhere, I’ll need to empty the cupboards.

Maybe we should start a new thread... Post your first watch.
In fact, I think I will!

That looks great. I would be happy to wear either of those anywhere.
