Healey - which seems an odd choice for me given I don't own a car and have no interest in motor-sports but I picked it in New York in a sale for such a low price that even as a beater it made sense.

(BTW Thanks for the Tag books!)

I don't use hyperbole much but I honestly think that is one of the best looking watches on the planet.

Could live with that being my one watch but sadly probably couldn't afford it

    What's the ref.

Thanks for the comments, it's a firm favourite of mine and gets a lot of wrist time. It's the 5164r travel time aquanaut

    Cheers

We were out shopping for a new watch for the missus but I must admit I fell for this rose gold Cartier Cle. She wasn't impressed but I fancied it for myself.

    Lovely piece mate.

Currently on the hunt for a Rose Gold piece for my collection and considering a few PP/Panerai/Breguet/JLC/AP and A Lange options

Is that a Memory version? Always fancied one of those and doubly lovely in Rose gold.

Some amazing pieces in this thread, probably none of which I will ever be able to own. I like that most are 'jewellery ' type watches as opposed to 'tool' type.
Thanks for showing them, I am most envious.

    All wonderful pieces.

When someone asks me "Would you wear a digital watch?", I say "Yes" then point them at the Lange. :-D

Had to google reverso memory to find out what you were talking about.
    No, it's a duo.

I suppose it's only like having a £50k Boxster in the garage which you never drive!

Lovely, and fascinating, thing the "Zeitwerk" -- though I've never really understood the rationale behind creating a mechanical digital watch (except maybe to show you can)

Power reserve, usually labelled Auf/Ab (Up/Down) on German pieces.

They have left the jeweled bearing exposed for the concentric minute wheels.

Also the only rose gold in my collection. I thought I would only have white metal pieces but this really appealed to me

I may never live this down but here is a rose gold (plated ) watch that I am proud ( ashamed ) to say that I own.

Loving this for work. Blue shirt with black/grey trousers and black shoes, this is ideal. Considering a brown alligator strap to swap in for brown shoe days.
