Looks legit... Could be a steal at the price

(Although replica box etc and anything associated with eBay makes me nervous!)

Could be a bargain, but I would be very wary.

Spoken to the chap he certainly sounds genuine and is at GARSTON near Watford, he'd prefer guys viewing and then buying etc.

Wrong dial for a triple isn't it?
I'd be wary but then with no bracelet and no paperwork, and non original dial and hands, maybe it is about what it's worth?

What is wrong with the dial?

For reference, about a year ago I bought one off SC for less than this. It is not in as good condition, but that's easily made up for by the lovely aged lume (to me at least).

Further context, I sold mine for 15% more than this 6yrs ago.

I'll make sure to raise my asking price when I sell then :)

    It’s not a bargain.

    No bracelet, no genuine box.

Service dial is luminova “SWISS MADE” rather that tritium original.

With that dial, it is reasonably argued that pricing should perhaps be in line with an old example of the 16600 which superseded it.....and one without a box or bracelet at that!

There are better 16600s around but even if you wanted a 16660 specifically then the following watch may prove an interesting comparison....with boxes, UK papers and bracelet : http://www.miltonaires.com/product/s...l-16660-x22504

Sold yesterday by a dealer*, which should mean some extra security of “come-back” which an eBay purchase from an individual does not provide.

    * okay, me, but as it’s sold I hope I’m not breaking with etiquette and it is directly relevant to the OP’s question.

I’d avoid the eBay deal as nothing special and lack of bracelet may cause regret later.

Virtually every part replaced at service. What the heck was it like beforehand?

Would Rolex return the spare parts? If so would be a nice earner to sell this and then sell on the Tritium dial/hands surely?

I'm with Milton here - it lacks some of the essential things you'd buy it for in the first place unless it was a cheap daily watch for you. I'd want the original dial/hands at least.

I saw this for sale weeks ago and as you say, almost everything has been replaced ! Not worth much IMO

I've been waiting years to get my hands on a watch remarkably like this :)

If you are who I think you are then we both know who was entirely responsible for the wait!
