    Bulova Bargain

Just picked up this Bulova and can't believe the quality for the very low price.
I know several others picked these up cheaply in the past but I missed out then.
Super clear dial, high frequency quartz with sweeping seconds hand, accuracy to seconds a year apparently and a pretty comfy Nato-esque strap.
    Can't go wrong really.

A great looker; and Bulova really are turning out what must be amongst the best vfm watches around.
I still consider the moonwatch to be an absolute steal at the discounted prices often available - and even better from SC!
Do I recall they are part of Citizen now?

That looks really nice. I too have been craving a moon watch. How much did you pick this up for if you don't mind me asking?

That looks pure class, however Bulova have produced some stinkers as well.
Perhaps they give their designers six months off and the cleaners design some of them.
I'm just a very naughty boy.

Good deals with- VINSTINK, kevkojak, Optimum, Omegary, seikoking, acg, SPEEDY, kfman, Card Shark, wajhart, Jot, danboy, zenomega, gaz64, minke, Mal52, Alas, norfolkngood, Sparky, rdwiow, mrteatime, gravedodger, joeytheghost, lordoftheflies, Silver Hawk, Filterlab, brooksy, marmisto, Fray Bentos, Bootsy, Harvey69, Mantisgb, bristolboozer, Jedadiah, newtohorology, Zephod, jimm1, Draygo, Raptor.

Argos will deliver one to your house, today. Must have taken a leaf out of the Rolex service.

The leather strap is rubbish but I've got mine on a nice Toshi. Its incredibly accurate, I've had mine since the end of July and putting it next to the clock on www.time.is I can't see that it is yet a second out !

Does it or its packaging say where it's made?

I have just bought one. These sort of watches are true value. A good looking watch accurate to less than ten seconds a year for £109.
And the second hand has a smooth sweep. Decent water resistance too. Strictly for the washing up.

The first picture shows the Bulova on a canvas/nato strap and these are available direct from Argos at £83 via ebay.

The one in the link is £109 on a leather strap.

I picked one up at £79 on a canvas/nato and they have been under £60.

Previous threads on the value of this watch.

That’s a really nice looking watch. A good size too, I have the moon watch which is brilliant. Would prefer it slightly smaller.

I put the size down to the requirements of the movement but looks like they can make them smaller. Hope Argos do that one!

To answer some of the questions above.

I bought this from Argos on Ebay for £83 delivered.

No mention anywhere on the watch or packaging about the place of manufacture.

It's great little watch, well built, accurate, perfect for grab and go. I have mine on custom made leather strap.
