Hello all
I can’t seem to find a “introduction” forum o here so hope this is in the right place.
I have been collecting watches now for 15 years and have a good collection. I favour a certain brand some of you may or may not have heard of , Favre Leuba. It’s my absolute favourite brand although I own an el primero and a datejust2. I have been a member of RLT for a while but fancy trying a new place out.
Thanks

Thanks guys. Here is a few of mine. Two are in for a service and
Some I haven’t got a decent picture of yet.
First up. Favre Leuba Cal. 352 (designed in partnership with JLC and GP) quite a rare one these days.

That’s all for now. I have to go back to work
More tomorrow.

Welcome,
Nice to see something other than the 'usual suspects'.
"Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action."
'Populism, the last refuge of a Tory scoundrel'.
You took the words from my keyboard, verbatim......

Welcome to the forum . I have a number of cal 352 watches but haven't snagged a Favre-Leuba yet although I do have a Girard Perregaux with possibly the same case as yours (sadly somebody has already done a movement replacement on it with a modern quartz however I the price reflected this and I bought it for the spare links in the bracelet).
We need more and better pictures.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Morning Redwolf. My wife inherited her late father's gold plated Favre Leuba and I got Paul Walker on this forum to completely restore it for me. It's lovely...
I'll try to get a photo up later.
Oh, and the new Favre-Leubas look really interesting...
Welcome to the forum.
Simon
Welcome to the fold buddy.
Welcome to the forum redwolf look forward to seeing more of your watches
Welcome. Nice watches.
Welcome to the forum, very nice watches, hope you enjoy it here.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys .
@mycroft I would like to see that one please. And yes the new ones are interesting to say the least. But they wear a bit too big for me I saw them in person at Baselworld 2017. They use sellita movements and the new bathy has an in house module. Would have liked to see the old twin power (250 series) updated to 8 days power reserve or something similar.
@carlton-Browne I just took some more photos for you. I would like to see your 350’s too. The bracelet on mine is extremely well made to say the least. Some may ask how comes Favre Leuba has a similar looking Quartz watch to the famed Memovox by JLC, well they owned JLC during the “invention” of the 32768hz quartz which became the industry’s standard.

I also have about 8 more FL’s including a rare Memo Raider (uses a 916 JLC for same reason stated above) and a gorgeous triple date moonphase, both are being serviced, a Sea Raider a Moon Raider. I will add more to this thread soon. Can’t treat you to my whole collection too fast can I?
Many thanks for the photos and that link; for me, at least, it's new information and I may have to start looking out for a Favre Leuba reverso.
The subject of this is one of mine:

Here's an oddity:

In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
That FL quartz looks a chunky beast how deep is the case? I saw one of the new models and I didn't think they were as deep. Given that's quartz not auto I quite liked the slim re-vamp.
welcome, enjoy your stay, any FL diver in your collection?
Thanks for the links Carlton, I wish you luck with your search for a FL Reverso in unmolested condition , they really are a rare beast.
@DanTheMan I’m waiting for my callipers to arrive and will report back accurate measurements. The new ones are all mechanical automatic apart from the ladies ones Iirc, unless you mean the post 2000 models?
@afnios not yet but this journey is a long my friend, I would love a deep blue though.
Welcome Redwolf and thanks for some really interesting opening posts.
Sea Raider Cal.1164 36k vph (in house) with original NSA bracelet
Some interesting pieces there,I was tempted to buy GP that was similar but the bracelet was way short, and wasn't too sure if the links would be available
