Certainly a matter of taste but I really like it. The bronze paintwork looks superb on this bike too. Nice touches throughout. These Metzeler's look menacing.
For those motorcycle fans, here are a few pics of my new BMW RNineT Scrambler X. It has been very carefully customised by the supplying dealer, and I should have her at the end of next month. I think she is beautiful, but an acquired taste which traditionalists may not been keen on. Love the air cooled motor.

Oil cooled, strictly speaking.

It looks really good; a bike you can ride without always risking your licence.
I'm sure I've seen this before.
Nice one SM, looks really nice and good colour choice.
Did you manage a deal in the end?
OP - very nice bike. I have a GS and am trying to justify adding an r nine t original. Did the dealer add all the extras before you got involved, or did you spec it and they did the work?
I'm not a bike fan but that is gorgeous.
Not really a motorbike person but that looks amazing. I think you need a Judge Dredd outfit and rocket launchers to do it justice, though.
Now that looks like a lot of fun for a Sunday blat about!
I’d love that type of paint work in a very very dark metallic, almost black, purple.
Must say I prefer the original R9T to the base model, but the custom is something else
It's just a matter of time...
Nothing local in either hemisphere - plus I’ll be at maximum capacity in the garage as soon as I bring the Honda home.
Ive made a mental note to build a very large garage in Oz ;)
It's just a matter of time...
Love it! top bike, great paint job.
Is this your first bike or have you taken a break?
Hate to say it but thats a really nice bike
RIAC
Lovely bike.
But I couldn't be doing with that exhaust!

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
That looks really nice. Might be looking for a stablemate for the Harley (I know, I know!...) next year so double jealous of that.
Wow man! Nice bike? I wanted to buy this but it was expensive in croatia so i bought something else. But i still plan to buy this in 2-3years! I love it!

That's stunning, and I'm not particularly a bike fan....

That is very nice.
Great bike.
There's some fun to be had on that.

Traditionalist and sports or sports/tourer preferrer here..................I still think it looks great, even if I wouldn't want one!!
Colour would read 'yuk' on paper but really suits it!
Looks really cool. Love the colour. Had a R9T as a loaner when my RT was in for service, quite fancy one, but the last time I had two bikes, one never got ridden
Nice, but as ralphy says, not with that exhaust!!
mike
I saw a bobber verison of one of these the other day. Seemed to have quite a bit more done than this one. It really turned my head and I spent the afternoon looking at bikes. This one looks really good, too. Where does the number plate go?
Looks like there is a recall coming on these

thats a beautiful bike. enjoy and keep it upright between the hedges.

PS if you need any kit or gear let me know. I'm clearing out!
What a bike! Obviously to a taste but looks better than the stock Scrambler by miles.
I have a triple black GSA and I’m thinking of swapping for an R9T in a year or two. Coolest looking Bike bmw do and no chain to mess about with.
All GTechniq’d up and with PPF applied to the kneepads, she is at last on her way to France. Cannot wait.
I still find myself coming back to this thread just to look and drool. That is one helluva bike!!
Jim
PS I’ve got a couple of retro leather jackets that would set that off
