    How waterproof/resistant is the PRS-17C?

Just wondering what the real-life water resistance is for the PRS-17C?

Do people use them when swimming, diving etc?

    Cheers

Some companies say 100m means 100m, some companies won't even recommend you submerge theirs. How's he to know what calibration is going on here without asking?

Exactly! I have a watch that is rated to 5ATM and in the leaflet it recommends that you don't really get it wet, apart from maybe getting caught in the rain.

I was really asking what people have used theirs for and whether they've had any issues.

    Cheers

Strange, I could have sworn all this information was contained in the leaflet supplied with the watch, including a W/R table explaining what the various ratings mean.

I don't think there was a leaflet with mine, bought it used. Now that you mention it though, I'll have another look in the box.

Thanks - good to know. It was the lack of screw-down pushers for the chrono that made me wonder. Sounds like a little bit of swimming etc. should be fine.
