Saw a bit of it on Instagram this morning, very nice. I love my blue one but this one is a bit too similar to my Black Bay for me to get one.

Very, very nice. Love the applied markers and the sensible size. Shame about the Sillita movement. Controversial I know but I'd rather have quartz precision than a lower end mechanical movement nowadays.

Loving the fact that, like the Brashear, they have decided to return the date window to 6, which greatly improves my love of its symmetry. Not entirely convinced by the moustachioed strap.....

That's the movember tribute. At least it's not on the dial so if you do dislike it, it's easily removed. It's a great cause and as someone who has 'done' Movember numerous times, I'd wear that with complete pride

If a Swiss manufacturer who used to supply ETA with parts is now "low-end", what is the available terminology for Seiko / Miyota, and then beneath them, Seagull etc?

I'm already out of my depth! My issue is purely with accuracy rather than any horological snobishness on my part. My point was I'd rather have a precise quartz movement than a +/-10s mechanical nowadays and I shouldn't have said "low-end".

It manages to look retro and nostalgic WITHOUT fake vintage lume! At last!

I’m a fan of the Sixty Five and have it on the prospect list. This one is smart, but not sure on the hands. Maybe would need to see it first hand for a proper view.

    Lovely looking thing that.

Also partial to this that came on a recent C24(?) email. Oris Staghorn (snigger)

I'm interested. Look forward to seeing it in the shops. 40mm with that dial is a pleasant surprise. Less sure about the nato colour combination but looks good on leather. I would prefer a bracelet option however.

    Oris

I think Oris have brought out some lovely watches recently with some cool retro touches!

Didn’t even notice the moustache initially LOL!

Nothing I don't like about that, and I don't see any issue at all with regard to a Sellita movement. In fact, I prefer this to the Black Bay as it's a better size (for me), and I really don't like that coloured band between the crown and the case on the BB.

really like that nice and simple retro look; i think the detail on the strap is simple and discrete

I really like the overall design, and would take it over any of the vintage inspired competition, Black Bay included. I think my only sticking point would be the price. Still, it is very nicely executed.

I think it should come with the bracelet and another strap, would be better value then.
Find a friendly dealer for a discount. I love my blue one, they were a bit cheaper a year ago though!

Just checked my selita sw200 and it has lost 35 seconds in the 60 days since I last reset it....
    -0.58 seconds per day.
Sometimes I wonder if Sinn sneakily swapped it for a quartz movement!

I had similar from the Miyota auto in my Helson Shark Diver It stayed within +1 sec per day for about 2 months then settled at +25 sec per day. Similar thing also happened to my auto Seiko Sarb35. Be interesting to see if your Selita stays at that over the longer term.

I’m a big fan of Oris and the sixty five is my favourite Oris , I prefer the smaller version with the big numbers though , vintage reissue divers at their best

It's a nice watch, but you could buy a lot of other great watches for that price...

Seems an odd theme for such a lovely looking watch, okay its charity based so best be careful but what happens after November? do they give you another strap without the tash emblem for the rest of the year?
