    Vintage Longines ref 3446

Longines is a brand that I've not considered before but I've stumbled across this 37mm reference 3446 that really appeals to me:

    https://www.chronext.co.uk/longines/vintage/3446/000153

I'd be interested to know more about this reference, if anyone can help. Thanks all.

Like you, I really know very little about the brand but the watches on that link look terrific!

Something about that worries me. Hands relumed, or modern replacements. But...smells wrong.

If you Google Longines 3446 you find it has been offered by a couple of different vintage retailers in Germany. I have to agree, it looks doctored. It's a shame, the 30CH is a fantastic movement.

    Its a Longines Conquest Heritage.

Its a really nice looking watch. Its probably my smallest watch too, I think its just 38.5mm.

My preferred watch size is about 42mm........Before I bought this one, I was worried it may wear too small for me.

I think though it wears really well on my wrist. It doesnt look small to me at all. Probably, as it has no bezel to speak off, plus the lug to lug size makes it seem to wear larger, as the lugs seem long!

    What makes you think it's a 30CH ?
Doesn't even look vintage to me. Looks like a complete fake.

I'd suspect from the caseback that it's the exact same watch. Sold around 2014 by the looks as theres a discontinued eBay listing from then. Movement dates from between 1945 and 1950

    Chronext state Sapphire crystal? Really?

Not knowing enough about Longines specifically, I'd be wary the only articles Google comes up with for "Longines 3446" are those featuring the same watch. I'd be asking Chronext to apply to Longines for an extract from the archives to see if it's genuine
