    Friday 22nd September

This arrived in the post today. Love the Speedmasters and this is my first 4.5. 45m serial puts it mid 1980s. Got it for a good price too (I think)

Not the Jordanian sunshine of last Friday, but nice to see a bit of brightness in the UK for my last day off work.

Worn both, one on each wrist, all morning - nobody else about to see though. Much love at the moment, until I collect the Seamaster 300 on Sunday, who knows what will happen then....

Its the strap from the DB9 Bond Aqua Terra, ref CWZ004526. Fits the Globemaster perfectly!

Too early, too incompetent, to figure out how to remove the reflections.

You are one of the lucky few! Sumptuous dial, and the rest isn't too shabby either. Enjoy.

Thank Nev! To be fair I cheated and had my name down way before release when Ming was showing it to friends...

I did put it up on the forum once the embargo was lifted, a good week or so before the Hodinkee article set the watch on fire. I don't think many noticed it unfortunately until it was too late!

My one regret is not ordering the anthracite too - both colours have very different personalities. But have to stick within budgets!
