    How to repair steel bracelet?

I have a steel bracelet where the connecting pin holes have worn oval and hence it is very loose.

I am just wondering if anyone can explain how to disassemble it.

I was thinking of drilling out the ovalated holes and sleeving them.

Any info would be gratefully received.

    Piece of string?........ how long?

A picture would help....without more info the question's far too vague.

Generally, fitting oversize pins is the way to fix a worn bracelet but they're all different and it's impossible to generalise. If you can make sleeves to restore the holes good luck to you, a jewellers lathe and more than a little skill will be essential.

There are places that sell fine stainless steel tubing of various wall thicknesses. So I was thinking of seeing if I could get some with the correct internal diameter and then drilling out the worn holes and tapping it in.

I will try and sort out a pic or two. I haven't got round to setting anything up post-pee bucket.
