If I had any idea how the flying fork I set the moonphase hand on my Eberhard Mareoscope I would gladly show it here.

LOL! I love that watch as it looks far too complicated to be used easily. 👍🏻

Love both of them! Not seen that Casio before, is that a module that's still available?

Thanks, the module has not been availablie since the 1990s I'm afraid. It was really a good complication as it gave loads of information over and above moon phase e.g. Moonrise and Moonset times.

I'm really loving the new Chris Ward moonphase at the moment.

I think I might have to start saving.

I do like the first Christopher Ward moon phase model, not so keen on the newer one.

That Casio is just so cool!

In the absence of any pushers - then I think you just wind the time setting forward until the moonphase desired is selected, then wind the hands back to set the correct time

at least thats how I used to do it on a poljot with no other obvious way of setting it.

I think you may be right; thanks. That's 14 3/4 daysworth of winding!

Cancel that - the moonphase hand only adjusts in forward mode. So it's potentially the full 29½ days of winding.
I think it would be easier to move the moon.
