    Live on the edge and beat the system. Take an Ex-EU business class flight to duty free location, buy a cheaper watch and wear it casually walking through the green lane while 'missing' the final leg of your flight.

    My grandfather had his Rolex for 40 years. No box, no papers and obviously no proof of purchase after that amount of time. How could the insurance company ever find out whether VAT was paid?
