I've always fancied one of these but owning a sword hand SMP always stops me doing it! Looks great though

That's nice, wanna sell it? ;)
Thankfully I don't need to raise funds for anything at the moment.
Very nice indeed, always like the shiny cases compared to the newer bead blasted models.
Sadly for me, despite these always looking great in photos, great in the hand, great on my bedside cabinet - they for some unfathomable reason just look stupid on my wrist. I've had two but can just never seem to get on with them.
Very nice indeed . I will have to buy one , one day .
They do wear really well in a perlon. I'm in the process of having a sapphire crystal fitted to mine. I agree, much prefer the polished and brushed finish to bead blasted plus the tritium weathers nicely over time.
Very nice Ian, that's not the one that was floating around with your name on the original papers is it?
Thought you moved away from these for something smaller, although the Speedmaster was the same size.
If you get bored with it I will also go on the waiting list
I've been eyeing up these CWC's again after many years of ignoring them. I almost got the SBS version that they had on their pre-owned section but then I noticed Eddie is bringing the PRS-18 back and I missed it.
Me too. I had an original RN Diver issued to m in 1986, with the acrylic lumed bezel - I wish I'd kept/lost it now. I do occasionally have thoughts about selling my SMP for a CWC with some spare cash to go to something else, but the CWCs are getting so expensive now that there wouldn't be much spare cash left over - and I do rather like the polished edges of the SMP sword hands, the domed sapphire crystal, the date, quick-set hour hand (mine's the quartz 2264) and the option to wear to on a bracelet or rubber as well as a NATO...
Lovely Ian, just curious which version is true to the original, satin bead blasted or polished?
Thanks.
Lovely Ian, though I have to say I somehow like them better in pictures then on my own wrist. Not sure why.
That looks lovely Ian, pleased you got it back

Yep, that looks like it belongs back on your wrist.
