Hi,
My first post !
A little while ago I purchased an Omega Speedsonic, birth year watch and I really love it.
The battery has gone and although I've found a replacement, I'm not keen on doing it myself.
Is there anyone on here that would service one of these ?
Many thanks
P

Only issue is he is booked up so won't be taking o any new jobs for a month
I believe Keitht of this forum is often recommended - I have been researching as well for an electric watch.
Keith has now fixed and serviced two hummers for me, as well as a Heuer quartz diver, and I've been delighted with his work.

Does it need a service, or just a battery change?
Any decent watch repairer (not a key-cutting place) should be able to put a new battery in for you. If you are feeling especially nervous you can remind them how fragile the coils are!
If it is working OK otherwise I would hold off on a service.
I have not used them for years, but these guys also specialise in tuning fork watches:

A very timely post as my Omega f300 has stopped working, despite a new battery. I
Sorry, pressed the wrong key. Do you have contact details for Keith?
Sorry, for some odd reason i'm not getting post reply notifications.
I'll give KeithT a try as Richard Askham has mentioned him previously.
Thank you and I'll try and look out for replies :D
