Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...

IWC are at it again - somehow they've crossed a G-Shock with a Seiko Tuna. And added a touch of Darth Vader for good measure.

If it were a Casio it would be spot on. 👍🏻

Well the back looks a lot better but it's not visible on the wrist so... Agree with others, if it was a Casio it would have been nice.

I wish that hadn't. Somebody thought this was a good idea at the time. Lol

Ok, well Im in the minority but I don't mind it. The love child of Richard Mille and G-shock. But at 49mm it's a bit of a dinner plate and with a 40k price tag not likely to end up on my shopping list.

    Agreed, it's a nice G-Shock.

I'm pretty sure that it won't be G-Shock pricing though!

I didn't mind it until I read the 40k bit. Seriously?

Something just caught my eye. It's called a dive watch but it's only 10 bar (100m) water resistant.

I know that this one is most likely more WR than a cheap chinese quartz that says 100m water resistant but still, this is laughable and lame especially given the price tag, design and naming, above all.

I really like it, in the spirit of their old Porsche Design offerings.

They seem to be late to the motorsport design paradigm, but they are doing it really well. Those are some of the best dash instrument subdials around.

I would take this over their duller offerings any day.

Well it's certainly brand discreet, if I saw that on somebodys wrist I would have never in a million years thought it was an IWC. Looks more like a SevenFriday to me amoung other things.

When I first saw this I thought it was a Gshock, like honestly.

Thank god there's only 50. I've probably got more more chance of being in a plane crash than seeing one.

Having made it past the photo and read the blurb, it does appear that they are working with a new material, a ceramic and titanium hybrid that combines scratch resistance with lightness, though apparently not affordability. So that's something at least. Pity this what they made from it though.

    Wouldn't spend 4k, let alone 40!
Don't care if it's made from smelted unicorn horn and angel feathers either. G-shock probably more accurate too.

I like the way they have scored the design on the case back and I'm in agreement "One out of 50" is a fair score.
