I would imagine that this would be similar to any watch being stored in a stock room.
My only concern given the time you are not using the watch would be possible battery leakage.

I wear a B1 on regular rotation which means it gets worn for about 4 weeks per year. I put it in sleep mode to save battery, the watch hands do not move and there is no digital display. My query to the membership is whether this is good practice as I am concerned that I may be damaging the movement as it may not get proper lubrication of the moving parts.
Does anyone have experience or knowledge of whether this is good or bad practice.

Thanks for the advice Brendan. What I was worried about was whether the movement may 'clog' if the lubricant hardened to a degree.
