I've been wearing my 18A on a dark grey CWC NATO, which looks really good. Today I switched to one of Eddie's green NATOs, which works just as well, plus I prefer Eddie's NATOs as they are softer, more matte and the holes are closer together. I can even forgive the chunky hardware as the finish matches the 18 perfectly.

    Not my pics btw.
    Yep, that looks good.

I have an old 2 piece strap from Eddie which is in green. I'm thinking of that as an option as I really like the colour of it. Will see if I have a picture of it in use to share.

I also have a blue nylon strap but it's a bit short so not that useful in actual use.

I actually plan on using an orange nato. I had an original '93 Precista that I loved on the orange strap. It was a nice contrast.

It does go very well on orange. I think it’s the matte case, but I have no idea why.

Agreed. I contacted Eddie recently to see how him and Mrs P are doing and although not great there has been an improvement.

Looking at the picture with the case back off, do you have to remove the plastic movement ring to access the battery (picture is showing a plastic cover over the battery)?

Battery life is 56 months, you'll have flipped it before then ;-)

Sorry if I've missed this in the thread but anyone know how many of these have been made, is it a limited run?

No figure or any statement about "limited" has posted in either thread or the website that I am aware of.

You might be able to do a little guesstimate from Eddie's statements

"Well they've arrived and I'll be checking them and updating the site this week. Fedex charged £155 "clearance fee" for customs "
"FedEx has had them for a few days, stating that the required documentation was missing. (...) I paid them almost 7 grand over the phone (...)"

So guess at Eddie's cost per unit, and then figure out how many units Eddie would have had to have ordered to have to pay > 7000 pounds

Offhand I would think this will be available for some time.
Movement availability and parts are probably not particularly restricted.
Eddie might have given us a clue if this was the case.

Even the PRS-82 which was originally somewhat limited (I forget the exact wording but it was along the lines of ~ Timefactors have managed to source 200 new old stock 2783 movements) continues to be available - albeit with a different movement. Originally I thought 200 was going to be end of the line for that one.

Also Eddie gives a clue as to how sales are going over here
    http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...sure-this-week

"I've currently got 82 orders still to pack from today and no doubt it will be over the hundred by tomorrow morning. Most of these are watches (...)"

So if we say "Most" is 75%, then say 75 watches sold today. The only question is how many of those were PRS-18Q COSC vs. other watches that people have been hot to snap up when the store re-opened - since it has been closed for a while I believe.

    PS.
as of post #62 in the other thread, I count about 15 people who have chimed in to say they purchased the COSC.
