    Brian Aldiss - RIP

For the SF lovers amongst us, just seen that Brian Aldiss is dead at 92 http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-41003085

A good innings, but still a pity.

Now that's sad news, I read an awful lot of his work some years ago.

Tried to read Barefoot In The Head a few times, can't make head nor tale of it, which is the mark of great sci-fi......!
    A true pioneer.

    Oh :(
    Hadn't seen that.
I read many of his books as a young chap.
With each passing i feel a little closer to my own. I guess it's natural but nonetheless...sad.
A good innings for him. I hope we all have the same.
