Gmail help with new email address

I have one email address and want another for solely for business.

How do I go about adding another emai address.

Do I log into gmail as my current address and set up another or do I go Gmail and set up a new address as a new person.

Thanks Phil but I don't have any other email address.

I want to create a new email address, example bccabs@gmail.com

When you are in your Gmail, if you click on one of the icons top right, you should have the option 'add another account'. Clicking on this will allow you to set up another Gmail address. You can then toggle between accounts. You can run several email addresses at once. It's worked for me anyway! Good luck. Dave
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

Just click logout, it should take you to the login page where you can select the account t you just logged out of, or under it should be "add account"

Why don't you buy a domain name? Gmail addresses for businesses look a bit cheapskate/can't be arsed to me.

Are you on a desktop or a phone?

... If you havn't uploaded an avatar on there, it might just look like a coloured square with a letter in it, eg B for Ben

Agreed. Rightly or wrongly it creates an unfavourable image of the business for me.

My first thoughts too... especially for business. a .co.uk domain only costs around £7pa and gives you unlmited mail boxes and storage.

I manage a load of these for people. You can register up front for up to 10 years, but as an example ben4watches.co.uk would cost £35.95 for 5 years. You can setup info@ for business, ben@ for personal... and give extra ones to whomever you want (family?).

PM if you want one at cost - I'll set it up for you
