Not really my cup of tea, but price wise looks like a pretty good deal with the 30% off for pre-ordering. Works out at around £1400.00
I can't see past the crown guard
It looks tough, gritty and huge.
I was surprised to scroll through and see the actual dimensions.
Ball do this a lot now - another current pre-order is:

Not a company that I've looked into much before. The pre-order prices are interesting. Those Engineer Hydrocarbon look mental but strangely appealing

Much as I like their products in general, I reckon a thermometer is about as useless as it gets. Unless you really need to know what temperature your wrist is....
Looks like a beast! Not too offended by it at all.
Does anyone have any real world pictures of the lume of a Ball watch? I've seen they make quite a bit of noise about it in a few watches
Crown guard looks quite neat I think. Better than Panerai anyway.
double drilled lugs. whoa.
I like it
Ball crown guard doesn't look cheap.
The crown guard may not be for everyone but it is best if you look at it in person.
Here is some information about it.
It is far,far superior to some gimmicky, cheap crown protectors.

I have never seen one in the flesh, but must admit, I am intrigued.. and , I thought their glow was stronger ?

Like some women I've known... looks a lot better when the lights go down ;-)
I can't read the lume it's too confusing!
It does look a bit like a ball, with those lugs. The crown guard though is more balls-up.
I don't mind that engineer III endurance linked later on though - apart from the date at 1 on the 42mm which looks more pin-ball.
Nice to see a range of sizes on the endurance too instead of just one default oversized version, though all three are fairly large. Presumably the lume will be impressive anyway, and the price is tempting, sign of the times? I wish a few other brands would do that!

I like both of those... but then I'm wearing a Ball watch right now and keep getting tempted to buy another, I'm even keen on the fantasically named Ball Skin Diver....
I've had mine for a few years now and love it, it's an aviator dual time with lots of gas micro tubes, you don't notice the lume until it gets dark but it is very clear and easy to read long after my Seiko has faded to nothing.
Agree, could not live with that. Looks fugly, it's round (??) and it's in another colour than the dial, which kills it completely for me..
But let's talk about the elephant in the room here guys, the name?, the name!!, who calls a watch Ball?
Imagine you collect them, what do you see at the pub: 'I collect Balls!'
I'll get my coat..
;-)

Wow,so original:-)
Paging Tokyo Tony, Paging Tokyo Tony (or anyone else in Asia).
Having a quick read around and a browse of 'From Japan' - seems cheaper to buy Ball from Asia even with import? (Asia is their most important market).
