    Filing Omega 633 end links

Hoping for a bit of help as I know there are plenty of fettlers here. I've just taken delivery of a lovely new 1171 bracelet with 633 end links and found they're a little too wide for the lugs on my Speedy. A little googling and I see they can easily be filed which I'm happy to do myself but I need some guidance on what kind of file to use? We're talking microns that need taking off each side.

Anyone that says and angle grinder...

I've got a cheap set of draper needle files. Ideal for when I needed to file the 633's for my old 145.022.

Strongly recommend some brass-faced small pliers too for bending the end pieces to get a snug fit.

A cutting disc in a Dremel can be used to good effect for trimming end pieces, but the scope for disaster is significant if you're not used to doing this type of work.

Thanks for the responses. Plenty to go at there and hopefully I won't bigger it up!
