Tag calibre 5 thoughts?

Looks a nice watch around £2000 are these a full automatic? What should I expect to pay for one of these?

Depends which one - I'd recommend the Carrera option.

The Calibre 5 gets used in various models. You'll have to be more specific.

The calibre 5 is the basic 3 hander; it used to be the ETA 2824 but is now (I believe) the Sellita SW200 movement.

The calibre6 is a slightly higher grade movement.

Watch collectors can be sniffy about Tag but I like them a lot - however, never pay retail for a TAG - even nearly new with most models you will get a decent discount - even if you most buy new, don't pay retail.

^^this. They are good watches and in terms of finish quality they are really right up there but they do suffer very steep instant depreciation. Used market is where to get one imho
