    Sorry no, I just went to main event. AFAIK there were only some ultralight planes on display, quite a low key.

    lovely photos love Riga went there last year to find out where my dad came from.valles kapi lived just down the road from this cemetery.

    If you can go next summer you can catch the song festival which is amazing. It's possible to book tickets from the uk although not for the finale which sells out in minutes.

    Great set of shots. I love air displays since being bitten by the bug when I was a young boy. Firstly to RAF Lindholm, an American airbase - sadly no longer there and then many time to RAF Finningly, now Robin Hood airport, to be fascinated by the sheer power of the Vulcan's there.

    The Red Arrows were flying Hawker Hunters back then too. How things have changed.

    thanks, Maris we are thinking of going back sometime.so much to see there we want to spend some time at Jurmala also,great pictures in the link i know they like to sing a lot.

    There is an interesting aviation museum near the airport in Riga.

    There was something there (its a bit like a junkyard) that looked like a small WIG aircraft in very poor nick.
