I always regretted letting this one go but, thanks to the new owner, I was allowed to rectify the mistake two years later...

I have a few. Too painful to list the prices, but probably at least £50k less than current values. Is this therapeutic, I am not sure.

Sold a one year old Sub LV because I was tired of the green bezel (it was my only watch at the time). I could've swapped in a black bezel and had the perfect watch...black bezel, maxi dial with old style case. I'm such an idiot. 

    Biggest selling regret!!

GS SBGW001. It was only after flipping, then acquiring watches at a similar price point, that I would come to appreciate the superior level of workmanship.
+ It Just oozed under the radar class.

Probably these two but they've only gone to my mate up the road.
I figure three years of begging would probably land them back 😂

The 14060m that I sold today. I had three people wanting it, so it was clearly too cheap. Regrets, regrets

    Ha!

    I think that's a very good mantra - if it has plexi/black dial - DON'T sell it!

I am also a victim, I bought and sold a Daytona 16520 Zenith white dial for £9k last Christmas and now 8 months later Watchfinder want £17k for the same watch.
    Ouch!

Didn't realise the SM300 was worth that much today. You live and learn! :-)

As a dealer one inevitably could have many more regrets, as one sells far more watches. I think of the Double Red which stayed in my window for ages at £4,695 or the mil sub at £2,100, an early 1655 straight hand, a full set 5513....but since I found this picture and it represents something different, I'll pick this :

Unworn, stickered Rolex heads I bought at auction for £168,000 after they had been seized by HMRC. Another £40,000 of bracelets followed with the blessing of Rolex UK and I then had trays full of some of the most desirable models. I should have kept at least one of each!

My biggest regret was my Oris Titan C Small Seconds. I flipped it for a Carlos Coste which was just too mahoosive and then flipped that for a lens...
The Titan got more compliments than any other watch I've ever owned. Great detailing and well put together.
I'll definitely get another but a good used one seems to be way more expensive now than the minty one I sold....

    Amazing...

Would love to know what an up to date appraisal would reveal for your £208k investment - double? - triple??

Always regretted selling the PRS-14 and an 18, so I'm looking forward to Eddie's new COSC 18Q.
