    SS SkyDweller

I am told that late September will see the beginning of UK deliveries. My heart is set on the blue dial - for which I have a confirmed first place order - but the bi-metals look tasty too. The idea and execution of the watch and it's complication really appeal, in the ever growing sea of blandness from Rolex and other brands. What have you guys gone for?

Blue dial for me too. I'm first in line so fingers crossed for a blue one in their first allocation.

To be honest I'm quite a fan of it in yellow gold. Proper in your face and shouty!

Also the blue is excellent. It's just a refreshing watch for me - I'm almost getting fed up of seeing the same few Rolex time and time again. Almost.

Just noticed the title is SS. so yeah, blue please.

I wish I had been able to get to Plymouth. That does look lovely. How did it wear vs the SD43?

Wondering why people with no interest in watches are on a watch forum?

Interestingly there was both the a black faced and gold faced bi-metal watch immediately available from stock at the Rolex store in Bellagio Las Vegas this week. THe black in particular looked great.

I know bi-metal watches have a smaller market, but having 2 of a newly released model in stock did make me hopeful that after the initial rush, availability of the stainless models may not be an issue. If there is a bubble on prices for these I think it will be very short lived.

I'm waiting to try the black and blue SS before I order. My biggest concern is (not unusually!) the size they might wear, but I'm sold on the design.

I didn't really pay too much attention Simon as I was enjoying their hospitality at the time but didn't notice much difference. Looking at the photos I took they don't look much different. Hard to say whether it's would be a 'keeper' or not. Bling is definitely the wrong word to use but it's at the higher end of being a stand out watch based on `Rolex models. It was the only watch my partner said to buy straight away, she loved it. If I hadn't just bought the 5711 I'd have certainly considered this.

It was a very nice evening and it was interesting talking to the people from Rolex and their views on the watch market.

I've got a Blue dial S/S coming (maybe...) but may swap into the Bi-colour Black dial as it looks lovely.

Don't really understand some of the negative comments in other threads.....having tried most of the Skydweller range on it's not in the least bit "bling" or, for me at least, too large on the wrist....each to their own.

Blue dial number 2 on list put depends on what they get as 6 variants so might be a wait
I feel steel sky dweller will up their with the Daytona never be short of buyers in ADs

Not a big bi metal lover but do like the bi metal sky dweller

Really like the look of the white dial, but still have an Exp2 fetish to sort out.
